BakFlip FIBERMAX
The BakFlip FiberMax has finally arrived after much anticipation since we first launched the concept at the SEMA show in 2011. The all new BakFlip FiberMax is fashioned along the lines of the most popular BakFlip G2, but gets a newly designed FRP - Fiberglass reinforced top surface for impact resistance, new flush fitting hinges and an a few bells and whistles that render it a serious contender when it comes to choosing the perfect tonneau cover. The BakFlip FiberMax still sports patented features like cab protection (over 90 degree tilting in the upright position) for improved safety, less strain on the rails and cover and less wind resistance, but also includes a list of other great features too.
While the BakFlip FiberMax doesn't quite meet the F1 in terms of being the most heavy duty cover that BAK produces, it certainly will stand the test of time and live up to expectations. The FiberMax is lighter, stronger, more functional and built better than any other brand of tonneau cover in the USA and will ensure years of daily hard use.

• Dual construction panels make them stronger and more impact resistant
The BakFlip Fibermax panels are solid aluminum underneath, giving them the structural integrity you want from the most solid tonneau cover available anywhere, while the top surface is an FRP fiberglass reinforced polymer. This provides impact resistance that will stand the test of time. The BakFlip Fibermax will not ding!
• Upgraded flush hinge system performs better in torrential rain conditions as well as ice and snow:
The BakFlip FiberMax has a flush hinge system. This means less water, dust, snow and other debris can penetrate the hinge seams. This advantage ensures better functionality in areas that are subject to high elevels of snow, rain or dust.
• Integrated robust Cab Protection:
The BakFlip FiberMax has beefed up rubber bumpers that protect the truck cab from shifting loads. The BakFlip panels literally serve as protection for the rear window and the cab area of the pickup truck. The panels will not rub the paint or squeak. Pin-drop silence is the name of the game when it comes to BakFlip tonneau covers.
• Modular latching system
If your truck has bed rail protectors (bed caps) on the sides or a spray on bedliner, do not worry! The modular latching system on the BakFlip FiberMax will ensure a perfect fit every time. The latches are set at factory level to be perfect, but if your truck is different in any way in width, usually due to bed rail caps or bedliners being used, the modular nature of the FiberMax latches allow for easy adjustment in seconds to ensure an optimum, custom fit.
• Tongue and Groove seal construction:
The BakFlip FiberMax uses no rivets or 3M adhesives in its construction. It is designed from the ground up, so that each component works in perfect unison with all others. The side rubber seals are not taped on, but fit to the edges of the panels with a unique tongue and groove design. This means no failures over the long haul and a solid construction that you can feel every time you open and close the cover.
• Automatic front panel latching system:
As you close the BakFlip FiberMax, it automatically latches down to the rails. No manual operation is required and it can be opened and closed from the passenger side of the truck as well as the drivers side. This automatic latching system of the front panel is patented and unique to the BakFlip and provides fantastic convenience without having to run around the truck in order to open and close the cover.
• Integrated rail guides
Integrated rail guides allow you to install the cover like a professional, even if it’s your first time installing a tonneau cover. No measuring, guess work or additional seals are required to attach the cover or the rails. The rail guides authomatically set the height and direction of your side rails, making for an absolutely tailor-made flush fit every time.
