I love this truck cover. I ordered it on line and I received it in about a week. The installation was easy. I installed it in about an hour. I read other people having problems putting in the drain lines but it was no big deal to me. They might have been trying to use the existing holes. I drilled my own. Personal I think I got a cleaner look. I would buy again right now but if it falls a part in a year or two I will have a problem with truck covers. I’ve had it on for 3 months now and it still looks and works good. The equality is superb. I don’t see having any problems with the cover in the future. The best part is I can close it, lock it or open it up and dump a load of dirt in. A friend of mine has a hard shell cover and let me say “what a pain”. Everyone that sees it, loves it and so do I. I must have bought one of the first bak flips (dont even know the model) maybe back in 07.
Only problem I have is that the aluminum cable housings have all just about detached from the underside of the panels. These were neither riveted nor screwed on. Have the new models been upgrated? Im going to have to buy a replacement soon.

Just put the HD on my Super Duty. Purchased from Truck Champ last week.
These things are amazing. They are easy to install (30 minutes) and look great.
My last top on my F150 was a SnugTop which I paid over $1000.00 for and it wasn’t nearly as versatile as my Bakflip. Wish I had found you guys sooner!

Of all the truck bed covers I prefer ones like this where you can fold it up to use the whole bed. It helps a lot when I need to carry large items. Plus the hard material gives me a better sense of security than the soft covers.

Hi I received the bakflip f1 from Auto Parts Warehouse (MVP auto parts). I had a question on the installation and also asked if on the F1 whether or not I get 6 or 8 hold down brackets. I contacted your company of the website and explained waht I need and received an email back stating “Contact your retailer for support”. Is this how your company supports its products? What if a warranty issue came up? The cover looks good, but your customer service is lacking. Please respond. Thank you

I have fork-mount bike racks that attach to the front rail on my Tacoma. Are those still usable with the BakFlip installed and in the fully open position?
