Driving with your BakFlip open in incremental positions

A question often posed is whether or not you can drive with the BakFlip cover in incremental positions. That is to say, not completely open where it may block your rear vision. The answer is yes, of course you can. The fact is that BakFlip covers have integrated D-rings both under and on top of the cover. This allows you to cordon off any loose panel to the front panel as shown in these image:

Has anyone encountered scuff marks on the rubber molding on the rails from an automatic car wash, just after two weeks from the original installation ??

This tonneau has meet & exceeded my expectaions..

I observed a Dodge Ram SuperBee with a Hard Cap fully wide open, hauling a standard toolbox (very akward) straight up (6 foot over the bed)

I am so glad with my decison to install the BakFlip, BakBox will be the next addition..
Awesome way to keep all my tools & equipment out of the cab…
