Hi Terry,

The BakFlip is actually the best selling hard tonneau cover in Canada. Specifically, it is a fantastic tonneau cover in ice, rain, snow etc. In fact, Ford of Canada now claims the BakFlip cover to be their best selling tonneau cover they've ever had. They offer it as an actual Ford product and back it up with a 3 year warranty. That's about as good an endorsement as you'll ever get when it comes to a tonneau cover. I'd say based on your concerns, that you'll be thrilled with the BakFlip. It honestly is an incredible all season tonneau cover!

Folks, quite interested in your product but as a customer who is replacing a cover (just ripped my old Peragon cover, terrible product). I am treading very lightly! With my last purchase (for my 2006 F150 Supercrew) I had nothing but trouble, and the product never worked properly, ever! I actually had two of them in the 5 years I've owned my truck (accident replacement) but both were nothing but trouble. As a Canadian customer and our winters I am shopping around extensively and doing my homework ( Extang ?) anyway any more info you can offer up to convince me yours is the product to purchase, I would appreciate. I would never buy another roll back cover again! Regards Terry

The F1 is a composite (fiberglass / polymer mix) cover and stays considerably cooler than it's aluminum siblings, the G2 and HD. It is still black though, and will get hot in the sun.

I just bought an F1 cover for my F250. The main reason I bought the F1 is that the cover was supposed to be cooler. I know the Texas sun is hotter than most places but I feel very little difference to the touch than the G1 that was on my F150.
I expected it to be cooler to the touch.
I think I did a better job of installing this one by myself than the dealer that installed the G1.

I just found your tailgate storage box. I would like one that fits a 2001 Chevy Blazer S-10. I think if there were only 2 compartments it would fit great. I am a ham radio operator and we do a lot of disaster work and public safety work this would really help storing a radio, coax, and power supply. If you can please contact me to see if this is available.
Thanks
